Meet Tristan Tolley

Founder of the BC Renewal Party
I’m Tristan Tolley, and I’m running to Renew British Columbia.
I’m 25 years old. I’ve lived through what the last two decades of failed leadership in BC have done to families like mine.
I lost my biological father and my sister to fentanyl overdoses because this province has failed to tackle the drug crisis. I lost my adoptive father to cancer after he couldn’t wait 14 hours in an emergency room to see a doctor. I grew up through education cuts that left my generation behind, and I’ve watched corruption and housing speculation destroy the dream of homeownership for people my age.
I know these failures because I’ve lived them. And unlike other leaders, I actually have skin in the game. I stepped up to raise my younger siblings. I built a business from the ground up. And now, with my first child on the way, I’m not willing to let the same broken system steal the future from my family — or yours.
That’s why I founded the BC Renewal Party. We’re fighting for bold, people-first solutions: a Universal BC Dividend of $1000/month, clean nuclear energy to power our economy, real housing reform, healthcare that saves lives, and education that builds futures.
I’m not in this for power. I’m in this because my life has been shaped by these failures — and I refuse to accept them as BC’s future. It’s time for Renewal.
"I’m not running to play politics. I’m running to make sure my generation, and every generation after us, has the chance to live, work, and dream in a thriving British Columbia."
– Tristan Tolley

A Future Worth Building
We’re not here to manage decline — we’re here to build a BC that’s fair, free, and full of opportunity. Our vision isn’t just a policy plan. It’s a promise: to fight for a province where you can build your future without leaving your home behind.
This is the BC Renewal Party.
Let’s renew British Columbia — together.
